It was in 1993 when I first visited Barsana Dham. I was a 2.5 year old kid with no knowledge of right or wrong nor God nor divine love. My experience, the memories, the knowledge was the most precious thing I've ever had.
The entrance itself is a moment where suddenly you feel peace and love. I forgot everything else and enjoyed the stay itself. That peace till now I feel no where. Amazingly those moments, although 19 years have passed, I still feel when I go back in time to recall.
My Guruji, Shree Swamiji Prakashanand Saraswati, showed me the ocean of divine love and knowledge. His teachings, guidance was the best any child could have. Like a father he held my finger and gently guided me to the right path and like a friend he very creatively showed me my mistakes. It was amazing how simply he made me as a little kid understand the purity of God's love, Shree Radha Krishn, our ultimate goal.
Each time I spent 1- 3 months absorbing all the Bliss that Barsana Dham and Shree Swamiji were showering. We had picnic sessions, we had satsang, we had kirtan, we took part in celebrations and had so much fun. There were also various leelas (dramas and dances) which I also too part in (1993, 1994, 2004) which are till now unforgetful parts of my life.
As a kid and till now, a journey of 19 years, I still cannot forget those amazing moments spent in Barsana Dham, the people there and my dearest Swamiji.
Born in Fiji Islands and spending my 18 years there, I have now come to India, completing my studies, but at every moment, at every step I recall my memories back as a kid in Barsana Dham where I first got the true knowlegde and guidance that has made me a more dedicated and a better person in Life.
